Doing MASSIVEGOOD

Business travel does a lot of good: it helps companies create and foster professional relationships and grow their activity at home and abroad. Now business travel can do MASSIVEGOOD.

MASSIVEGOOD is a new global healthcare initiative that encourages travelers to make a “ micro-contribution” of US$2, €2 or £2 when they purchase travel services. Funds will go toward putting a stop to the millions of deaths from HIV/AIDs, malaria and tuberculosis, and to improving maternal and child health in developing countries.

Following a kick-off for leisure travelers at the United Nations in early March, MASSIVEGOOD launched its corporate program on June 6 to enable companies and their employees to make donations to global health causes. As a global business leader, your company may wish to participate in this humanitarian effort.

MASSIVEGOOD offers an easy-to-implement, flexible contribution model, allowing participation by companies, their employees or both. Companies can contribute using different models: independent of travel activity, on the basis of their overall number of travel transactions, or by matching employees’ contributions.

All donations will go directly through the Geneva-based Millennium Foundation, an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the sources of funding used to help eradicate life-threatening diseases and improve health conditions for mothers and children among the world’s most vulnerable populations. For further information, visit the MASSIVEGOOD Website.
